The CHROMED Discord Contest is live, and it’s your chance to show what you can really do with our latest Beatmaker title. This time it’s a bit different, the community will choose the final winners!

Build your own drum patterns from scratch, flip the sample we’ll drop, or create something fully original. Need a starting point? Download our exclusive vocal snippets and let them spark your idea.

If you don't own CHROMED, you can download a fully functional 7-trial.

 

 

📜 The Contest Rules

Drums:
All drums and percussion must come from CHROMED only (kits, patterns, and FX). No exceptions. To be eligible, please include a screenshot of your project showing that you used CHROMED. 

Other Instruments:
Go wild with everything else. Add basslines, synths, melodies, or any sounds you like using any plugin or hardware.

Sample Flip (Optional):
Want an extra twist? We’ll drop a free to use vocal snippet by Avani in Discord. You can flip them into something new or ignore them completely. Submitting a fully original track with CHROMED drums and your own instruments is just as valid.

Length:
Your submission should be at least 30 seconds long. 

Originality:
No copyrighted vocals. No uncleared samples. Keep it clean and fully yours.

  • Contest launch and sample release: July 9th
  • Submission Deadline for members: July 31st, 23:59 UTC
  • Finalists shared for member voting: August 7th

Member voting deadline: August 14th,  23:59 UTC

 


How Voting Works

  • Starting at the Submission Deadline, the UJAM judges will select the top entries based on the following:
     
    • Musicality (Melody/Harmony/Arrangement/Groove)
       
    • Creative use of CHROMED (Sound Selection & Patterns)
       
    • Production Quality (Mixing)
       
  • After that, it’s the community’s turn — you’ll vote for the top 5 winners by adding a thumb up emoji reaction to your favorite tracks. The beats with the most thumb up reactions will win!
     

Member voting will take place in a read-only channel to keep everything smooth, fair, and free from spam.
 


🎯How To Enter

1. Join the Discord

Hop into our official Discord server and head to the #contest channel. Everything kicks off July 9th.

2. Download the Extras

Grab the optional sample and vocal snippet packs to use as creative starters — or ignore them and go fully original. Your call.

3. Make Your Track

Use 100% CHROMED for all drums and percussion. For everything else — melodies, bass, synths — feel free to use any plugins or hardware you like.

If you don’t own CHROMED or the trial has expired and you don’t want to purchase it yet. You can still enter the contest. Please reach out to our support team: https://support.ujam.com/hc/requests/new and they’ll help you reset your trial so you still can participate in the contest. 

4. Submit Before the Deadline

Add your track before the Submission Deadline. No late entries will be accepted, so don’t miss it.

5. Cast Your Votes

After submission close, UJAM will select the finalists and add them to a voting channel/thread where members can support their favorite entries with emoji reactions.
